Low, Low, Low

This morning we begin the final section of John’s gospel by looking at John 13:1-11. As John begins to unfold the final week of Christ’s life he does so by framing all of what Christ will do in His love for His disciples. Then, out of this love, we are given the story of Jesus washing the disciple’s feet. This amazing act of humility and service is difficult to forget, but what is the ultimate point of this act by Christ? What are the disciples meant to understand? What does it teach us about Christ? Join us as we look at this powerful story of Christ’s lowly service.
