The Mark

Today, as we continue in our study of Ezekiel, we will preach through Ezekiel 8:1-9:11. In this passage Ezekiel experiences another vision where God take Ezekiel to Jerusalem to see, with his own eyes, the abominations that are happening amongst God’s people and within God’s house. The horrors of idolatry are shown through four different images, each progressive in nature, to show how idolatry has worked its way into the nation of Judah as well as into the very Temple itself. God responds by showing how he will enact His judgment in a clear and swift way, yet God also speaks of His remnant people in the midst of His judgment. Join us as we see God’s redemptive grace in the midst of His just judgment.
