Gospel Longing

This week we look at 1 Peter 1:10-12. In these verses Peter speaks of the Gospel as something that angels long to see and the prophets searched and scoured to find. What is it about the Gospel that is so deeply attractive? If angels and the prophets longed for the Gospel in this way what must our response be?
