The Shepherd We Need

Today, we look at Ezekiel 33-34. These chapters mark an uplift in the contents of the book of Ezekiel. Chapter 33 gives us a picture of the state of the hearts of the Israelites, even after the siege of Jerusalem. Chapter 34 provides us with the promise of a shepherd who will do what the people need and cannot do on their own. Ultimately, this section gifts us with a beautiful picture of how Jesus’ fulfillment of this prophecy blesses all who trust in Him.
